Final suspect in Lubbock teen's shooting death surrenders to police Lubbock police officials said Wednesday that the final suspect in a June 9 fatal shooting at a Central Lubbock apartment complex has surrendered to authorities and is in custody. The 16-year-old boy is the last of seven teenagers arrested in connection with the shooting death of 14-year-old Dequavion Traylor during a drug rip at the Ella Apartments in the 1100 58th Street.  All seven are facing a charge of murder for their roles in the shooting. History of Lubbock Police Department on display at Citizens Tower Five display cabinets containing artifacts and photographs documenting the Lubbock Police Department's century of history were installed for display Tuesday in the lobby of Citizens Tower.
