Das Unternehmen warnte am Freitag vor Mängeln an Achse und Radaufhängung, die zu erheblich verringerter Steuerkontrolle führen könnten. Ford sind bislang nach eigenen Angaben sechs Berichte über Verletzungen im Zusammenhang mit dem Defekt in Nordamerika bekannt. Besitzer könnten das Problem bei ihren Fahrzeugen der Mitteilung zufolge an Klopfgeräuschen und falsch ausgerichteten Hinterrädern erkennen.
