THE mayor of Fordingbridge has praised the role played by the town in the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine. Speaking at a meeting of Fordingbridge Town Council last week, mayor Edward Hale celebrated the staff and volunteers supporting the vaccination programme at the Fordingbridge Hospital site, which last month celebrated the 20,000 vaccination milestone. THE roll-out of the Covid-19 vaccination programme in Fordingbridge will start this week. Another 10 GP-led services across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight will start vaccinating patients over the next couple days, as the roll out of the biggest vaccination programme in NHS history continues.
