嘉義林管處轄管玉山八通關杜鵑營地附近，今年5月的森林火災燒了12天，NCC專委喬建中瞎扯是登山野營時不小心弄翻爐火所致。南投地檢署檢察官查出是「明知不能生火卻生火烹煮」揭露５人說謊。南投地檢署以被告喬建中等5人均違反森林法第52條第1項第4款結夥二人以上竊取森林主產物及同法第53條第3項失火燒燬他人之森林等罪嫌提起公訴，而檢察官也在起訴書中怒斥喬建中，「毫無悔意」完整起訴書也曝光。（記者陳佳鈴）
