COLCHESTER United boss Hayden Mullins says trialists Richard Kone and Bayli Spencer-Adams will be given longer to try to earn a contract at the club.
The young duo have been with the U s throughout pre-season and have featured in all of their friendlies to date.
Former Athletic Newham striker Kone and ex-Watford defender Spencer-Adams both appeared as late substitutes in Colchester s 3-0 friendly defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur, on Wednesday night.
And Mullins says the pair are likely to be given more minutes when the U s host League One side Gillingham in their next pre-season game tomorrow.
