Ex-Costain CEO joins Persimmon board
Former Costain chief executive Andrew Wyllie has been appointed a non-executive director of housebuilder Persimmon. Chairman Roger Devlin said Wyllie’s experience in the construction industry would strengthen the board. “His industry knowledge and perspective will be a valuable addition to the board as Persimmon continues to build a sustainable business in every sense,” he said. Wyllie will sit on the company’s audit and nomination committees. Persimmon’s non-executive directors receive a £60,000 base fee and receive an additional £15,000 for chairing any committees.
