Ashland Police Chief Cara Rossi is scheduled for a preliminary hearing with the state POST Commission on Wednesday.
Suzanne Ianni, a former Natick Town Meeting member who was part of the mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol, was sentenced to 15 days in prison.
Suzanne Ianni had argued in February that federal authorities had selectively targeted her for prosecution based on her political beliefs.
She faces six months behind bars.
