Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, announced on Monday 362 new cases, along with an additional 409 which weren’t updated over the past month and a half due to a technical issue, across the province. This raises the provincial total to 121,535 with 9,337 currently active. There are also 637 Albertans in the hospital for the virus, 113 of which are in ICUs. Starting Saturday, residents will be able to enjoy a new outdoor rink at Borealis Park. “With the majority of indoor recreation activities on pause, the Municipal Parks team have been working hard to enhance outdoor recreation spaces and create additional activities for the community to enjoy,” said Keith Smith, Director, Public Works.
