One man is in custody after a police chase in Oklahoma City Wednesday morning.
Officials said the chase became too dangerous, and a short time later, the driver was involved in a multi-vehicle car crash.
Five vehicle involved crash; it was a multi car crash. It was apparently a very bad crash, said MSgt. Gary Knight with the Oklahoma City Police Department.
Police began chasing Durell Dupree on northbound Lake Hefner Parkway. Those officers then called off the chase near Northwest 122nd Street when they say Dupree s driving got too dangerous. 
It s concerning when there s a lot of vehicles or pedestrian traffic on the roadway because that makes it more likely that there s going to be some type of tragic event, said Knight. ....
