Watch closely this announcement. thank you for joining us and diane swonk as well. on the cusp of a deal. top congressional negotiators announced a bipartisan framework agreement to prevent a government shutdown. cnn s lauren fox joins us. there s still work that needs to be dong on this funding package. fill us in, where are we? what else needs to happen? this process obviously getting a little bit of good news last night that they had reached a deal on a framework but a framework isn t a bill and that s going to take a couple more days to really try to sort out to write this legislation. i talked to the top republican on the senate appropriations committee, richard shelby, and he told me it s probably going to take three or four days to write the bills. always snags that come up and disagreements between republicans and democrats but he is confident they can get there. in the meantime, they are going to need a couple more days so they ll pass the short-term spending bill. the hou ....
