Pastor Lee Woods, age 91, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Sunday night, April 24, 2022, at his home. He was born April 13, 1931, in Newton, the son of Jesse Lee and Gladys (Stoops) Woods. He was united in marriage to Frances I. Laswell on November 19, 1954, in Las Vegas, Nevada and together they have shared 67 wedding anniversaries. Lee served in the Navy for a year before transferring to the Air Force where he worked as a jet aircraft mechanic.
