He played his underage and youth football with Gweedore Celtic, before going on to represent Dunlewey and Glenea United at senior level. He also enjoyed a spell with Finn Harps Under 19s. Cannon has this week picked the best 11 (3-5-2) he has faced over his career, with honourable mentions for Chris Sweeney (Gweedore Celtic), Benny McLaughlin (Cappry) and Frank McGee (Gweedore United). Conrad Logan (Swilly Rovers): I played against Conrad a good bit underage and played with him too in Ian Rush tournament in Wales and Milk Cup. He was a good man to have behind you for organising and shot stopping. An all-rounder, I’m not surprised he made it in England. ....
