He made his debut for Drumkeen against Keadue when he was only 13 and has been playing regularly since he was 15 years of age. The talented left- back has spent most of his career with Drumkeen, but he also had two years with Finn Harps, and won the Donegal League Premier Division title with Drumoghill. He played his underage and youth football with Gweedore Celtic, before going on to represent Dunlewey and Glenea United at senior level. He also enjoyed a spell with Finn Harps Under 19s. Cannon has this week picked the best 11 (3-5-2) he has faced over his career, with honourable mentions for Chris Sweeney (Gweedore Celtic), Benny McLaughlin (Cappry) and Frank McGee (Gweedore United). Conrad Logan (Swilly Rovers): I played against Conrad a good bit underage and played with him too in Ian Rush tournament in Wales and Milk Cup. He was a good man to have behind you for organising and shot stopping. An all-rounder, I’m not surprised he made it in England. ....
