TROY, N.Y. â As part of the city's ongoing Earth Day celebration, volunteers from the Frear Park Conservancy and Terra Nova Church teamed up on Saturday morning for Frear Park's annual "spring refresh." Volunteers were split up into teams and assigned jobs in various parts of the park. Tasks including removing brush, raking, cutting away old or dead growth, weeding, pruning, removing non-native invasive plants, and picking up trash.
