96-year-old WWII vet enjoys her walks in a very special park
The park, established in 1997, “is a lasting memorial to all veterans who served, fought (and) died for our individual freedoms,” according to MarionFl.org, where information is posted about park events including the Quarterly Memorial, Memorial Day and Veterans Day events, band concerts and other programs.
