Montgomery cold case unit seeking information in Elizabeth Spence case
For the past 30 years, Elizabeth Spence's family has lived without knowing what happened to the 27-year-old mother. Now, Montgomery's cold case unit has cracked open the file and a reward for information that leads to any arrests and conviction in the case has reached $35,000. Spence was reported missing from Lafayette in Chambers County on Jan. 2, 1991. A week later, her Daihatsu Charade was found parked outside a department store off Atlanta Highway.
