Tuesday, May 4, 2021 Jon Melendez will celebrate sobriety by hosting his first annual Bowling Extravaganza on May 8th at the Freedom Blowing Lanes. The purpose of his project is to take the opportunity to give back to his community and share his story of addiction and recovery. He has always had sports in his life and likes to call himself competitive in those activities. This special event is his hope to bridge gaps and teach those in recovery that this is just one of many things that can bring you joy. The cost of bowling will be paid by himself and his sponsor, and you just have to pay for shoes. Freedom Lanes is located at 830 N 2nd E, with the fun, healthy, supportive extravaganza taking place from 1-5 p.m on that Saturday.
