Due to a project to complete a new north-south water transmission line on the east side of Carson City, there will be utility work in the roundabout at Fairview Drive and E. Fifth Street from January 24th through January 26th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be flagger controls and minor delays are expected.
Here is the Carson City road construction report through Sunday, Sept. 30. The westbound lane on Northridge Drive will be closed between Roop Street and New Ridge Drive. A detour will be provided for westbound traffic needing to access Roop Street.
There will be work at the following locations as a result of the Freeway Landscaping Project. No closures are expected, but traffic control will be in effect. A description of the work being done at each location is included below.
