Cirencester care home residents create charitable children's book | Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard
A Cirencester-based care home has created its very own children’s book to raise money for Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice. The book titled, ‘Our Friend Bertie,’ is a tale inspired by the friendly fox which has taken residence in the gardens of Elm Grove Bupa Care Home. Care assistant at Elm Grove, Victoria Hamlett, came up with the idea and drafted in the homes’ residents to help write the story.
