There’s no horsing around by George. After spending a decade as one of the first horses to serve with the Bethlehem Mounted Police, George retired. But he wasn’t keen on it, so he’s back in the saddle.
After serving as one of the first horses on the Bethlehem Mounted Patrol for 10 years, George moves onto to his next career as a therapy horse at Equi-librium.
George, one of the first horses on the resurrected Bethlehem Mounted Police unit, is retiring after over a decade serving the city. He was donated to Equi-librium in Nazareth, a therapy facility that specializes in equine-assisted services.

Guests can choose from one of five horses Pharaoh, Grey, Asa, George, or Casper and provide the first name of the recipient. Next, a post card is mailed depicting the chosen horse to their valentine. All valentines must be ordered by Feb. 9 in an effort to reach recipients on time.
