PARENTS across the country found out whether their children received a place at their preferred school yesterday (Friday).
Hampshire County Council processed more than 21,500 applications for children to start school in reception year and to move from infant to their first year of junior education (Year 3).
Just over 93 per cent (93.07 per cent) have been allocated a place at their first choice of school and of pupils transferring from infant school to junior school just under 98 per cent (97.82 per cent) obtained a place at their first choice. ....
