Jacksonville Performing Arts Center, Prairieland United Way, Toys for Tots of Jacksonville and Fusion Youth Ministry have received grants from Apex Clean Energy.
Susan Weller, president of the Jacksonville Performing Arts Center, said the money will help with architectural studies, planning and legal fees for the planned civic center.
James Crosier, coordinator of Toys for Tots, said the money helped buy toys for this year’s drive.
The funds were through Apex’s Community Grant Program.
Karen Walker, executive director of Prairieland United Way, said the money will go to funding various programs in the community that impact health, homelessness, youth and children and other support efforts.
