Pennsylvania's standardized test scores have yet to rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic, as schools struggle to fill gaps in student performance and outcomes. Though many scores were higher than in 2021, nearly all remain below pre-pandemic levels in 2019. The Department of Education hopes that as students adapt back to in-person learning, scores will return to their previous levels and learning loss will be minimized.
