People of britain have voted to leave the European Union, the first people ever had to leave that bloc. 52 voted to leave. 48 to remain. That result initially caught many people by surprise and it sent the pound sterling plummeting. The president of the European Council said the bloc will meet next week without britain to discuss the next steps. And it involves the unprecedented step of invoking article 50 of the e. U.
