breaking news out of georgia now. more than a dozen people were killed by tornadoes overnight. parts of that state are still under the threat of severe weather. the weather channel's chris warren has more from ringgold, ga george. >> take a look at this. you can see the power of the strong storm that rolled through ringgold. this storm rolled through and caused the destruction here at this gas station. the mini mart associated with this gas station, the roof is completely gone. there used to be a wall here. that too is gone. down there, that is where downtown is located. they will not let us in there. they are still working on the search, rescue and recovery efforts. it's getting later and later in the day, and we still have not been allowed to get down there. we were down there earlier before it got height out, and we were told to leave. and what we saw, we saw several businesses that had been severely damaged. we saw neighborhoods with trees down, in some cases you can only drive on one side of the street, there was so much debris in the road.
