And even in a world that isn’t so hands-on right now, miSci is working to make that happen. From Feb 15 to 19, miSci will be holding virtual classes featuring some in-person, at-home experiences, as the museum provides its students with material kits for pickup. “MiSci vision is ‘…engaging visitors with interactive exhibitions and programs that encourage them to inquire about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subject areas,’” said Gabriela Gastelum, miSci’s vice president of education. “The best way to fulfill our vision is to provide students with hands-on experiences, which our audience enjoys very much.” ....
