Reminder About Signing Up for Arrival Testing
If you have not already done so, you must schedule your arrival to campus and testing time in the Garnet Gateway by Tuesday, Feb. 9. This applies to all students returning for on-campus learning for the winter semester whether you live on or off campus. The COVID-19 Testing Center team sent you a message on Jan. 19 providing detailed instructions on how to sign up in Garnet Gateway for your arrival testing time. If you have questions about scheduling an arrival testing time, please contact the COVID-19 Testing Center team at testingcenter@bates.edu.

Jan. 19: Winter Semester Planning Update


Prior to Traveling
There are three public health precautions we ask you to take as you prepare to travel to Bates:
Close your social circle. Ten days prior to arriving on campus, start to limit non-essential interactions with other people outside of those with whom you live and work. Be mindful of how you can reduce your chances of exposure.
If possible, get tested for COVID-19 within 72 hours prior to arrival on campus. No matter where you are currently residing, if COVID-19 testing is available in your area, please get a test before you begin traveling. If you test positive, you should not return to campus. Rather, contact Bates Health Services (healthservices@bates.edu) to notify the staff of your positive test. ....
