The Oklahoma Senate on Monday voted to override Gov. Kevin Stitt’s vetoes of two tribal compacts, with the governor calling the process "illegitimate."
The Senate mustered 34 of the 32 needed votes after a prior override effort failed in the Senate by one vote. The compacts relate to motor vehicle registration and tobacco.
