View Comments Rancho Road is closed between Shasta View Drive and Airport Road after a two-vehicle collision that sent one person to the hospital Thursday morning. Redding police Sgt. Gary Meadows said around 8 a.m. that stretch of road could stay closed for another two hours as the investigation continues. The collision was reported just before 7 a.m. Meadows said one of the vehicles left the road and struck another vehicle. Police don’t know why the vehicle left the road.
