View Comments OCONTO – Copperfest’s lead organizer can’t predict how many will attend Oconto’s community festival June 11 to 13, but he’s hoping that $1 daily admission will draw a crowd. “We missed last year, and we want everybody to get out and have a good time this year,” said Gary Zahn, chairman of the Copperfest Committee. “I’m just glad it’s not this weekend with the hot weather they’re predicting." The festival offers bands Friday night, Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday afternoon, along with several food vendors, a variety of games and activities for children and adults all weekend, the huge parade — with the theme "Thanks to Essential Workers" — on Saturday morning, ventriloquist shows Saturday and Sunday, a street market just outside the Copperfest grounds all weekend, a horseshoe tournament on Saturday, fireworks on Saturday night and Under The Lights Pro Wrestling on Sunday.
