Doncaster Sheffield celebrates ‘sweet sixteenth’ in lockdown

With the expansion of transport links and the growth of airline operators, the airport has reached many milestones since opening in 2005
Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) celebrated its sixteenth anniversary yesterday (April 28), despite it being the second birthday commemorated under lockdown restrictions.
Around 14 million passengers have passed through the northern hub since its opening in 2005.
Currently, DSA is preparing to welcome customers back for the summer, with the aim of initiating a confident restart that will prompt a positive recovery.
