Apr 17, 2021 Ronald D. Reed, 82, of Findley Lake, N.Y., formerly of Sherman, N.Y., died Sunday April 11, 2021, at home. Ron was born Feb, 2, 1939 in Jamestown, son of the late Norvel T. Reed, Sr. and Eunice Harmelink Reed. The year Ronnie was born, his dad, Norvel, and Lee Buesink formed a partnership and opened the Livestock Auction Salebarn on Route 430 in Sherman, N.Y., where he was brought up in the cattle business. Photo: Gavin Reed Gavin Reed of Midway was arrested Nov. 25 on a string of drug charges, only to be picked up again and jailed 53 days later. He was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center Jan. 16 on a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Reed entered a not guilty plea to the new charge against him during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday and was ordered to reappear Feb. 8. His latest charge was filed after a vehicle in which he was riding was stopped by an Arkansas State Police trooper for a minor traffic infraction.
