The opposition in yemen s parliament, they also have to give the go-ahead on this. there s a lot of disunity among that group as well. right now, it looks like there s been enough pressure put by yemen s allies on the two political factions for them to come out publicly and asgree to this initiative so they can try to appear that they re trying to end the standoff, the turmoil in yemen, but you have tens of thousands of people out in the streets. you have these two political groups that really don t want to talk to one another, and even the statement from the u.s. today, even though it s welcoming the gcc initiative, it s saying it s still calling on all the factions in yemen to have a dialogue. so this thing is really far from over and nobody really knows when the timeline, the 30 days when he ll step down, when that will start. lots more questions than answers now. certainly significant that he says he ll steldown, but it s not done just yet. thanks so much, coming to us ....
