Take-Two has announced a deal to acquire Gearbox from Embracer for $460 million. They also confirmed a new Borderlands game is in the making.
Gearbox is leaving Embracer, as their parent company has announced they will divest most of the company to Take-Two Interactive.
The publisher will own the Borderlands, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Homeworld, Risk of Rain, Duke Nukem and Brothers in Arms series.
Borderlands developer Gearbox is to be acquired by Take-Two for $460m.
Take-Two will become the proud owner of major Gearbox studios and franchises including Borderlands, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, and Homeworld.
