But that approval came with a number of conditions, including one requiring the convenience store to be moved 250 feet further south on 270th Avenue, for a total of 720 feet away from Detroit Lake.
Although property owners in the neighborhood submitted a petition against the project, the Becker County Planning Commission approved the conditional use request on a 6-3 vote on Aug. 30.
