May 9, 2021 Donald C. Kane, 94, of Lewes passed away at Beebe Medical Center Thursday, May 6, 2021. Mr. Kane was born in Summit Bridge, Sept. 4, 1926, son of the late George Theodore and Margaret Deputy Clark Kane. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, George T. Kane Jr. and Roland H. Kane. Mr. Kane attended A. I. duPont High School, and when he became 17 years old, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and served in the Pacific theatre during WWII.
