St. Bridget's in Maynard makes changes to Ash Wednesday due to pandemic
Wicked Local Ash Wednesday, which marked the first day of Lent, looked a little different this year because of the pandemic. At St. Bridget’s Church in Maynard, part of Ascension Parish, which also includes Our Lady of Fatima Church in Sudbury, parishioners were asked to drive up to receive their ashes following a 12 p.m. Mass that was held in person and online. Similar events were held throughout the day at Our Lady of Fatima. Fr.
