There are two major outlier projects from 2023 that help bolster the numbers: a new Mitchell High School facility at nearly $37 million and a $20.6 million expansion at Performance Pet Products.
MADC Chief Executive Officer Geri Beck said the incentives were a glowing success, which accomplished exactly what the community leaders hoped.
“The question is, how do we help incentivize businesses to have more people, and a more reliable workforce?” said Armando Alanis, the CEO of AKG. “Those are the challenges that we're facing.”

The host site of the banquet offered a first glance at the renamed Valley View Villa, which was previously a multi-million dollar mansion a few miles west of Lake Mitchell owned by the Kelley family.
