Dr Betta Edu, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation asked the Accountant General of the Federation, Mrs Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein to send public funds to a private account, according to a letter obtained by SaharaReporters. The private account belongs to Oniyelu Bridget Mojisola, identified as a project manager by the minister.
The court, handling the trial of the former accountant-general of the federation’s trial says it was incumbent on a defendant that was granted by a court of law to reciprocate the gesture by regularly attending his trial.
