SAN DIEGO  —  San Diego police have identified a 42-year-old man who was shot and killed last Wednesday night in a trailer parked near an Encanto home as Isaac J. Grant. Grant was fatally shot Jan. 27 around 10:35 p.m. at the trailer parked at the home on Varney Drive near Leaf Terrace. Police have released few details about their investigation. SAN DIEGO  —  A 42-year-old man was shot and killed late Wednesday in Encanto and homicide investigators are looking into whether the killing is related to the fatal shooting of another man that occurred two months ago in the same area. Police first learned of the shooting about 10:35 p.m. when they received an an alert from the ShotSpotter gunshot detection system of audio sensors.
