A tropical cyclone watch has been issued for Far North Queensland. The cyclone watch is between Arukun and Karumba and also Mornington Island for a developing tropical low in the Gulf of Carpentaria. The Bureau of Meteorology's Dean Narramore said a tropical low in the Gulf of Carpentaria is forecast to develop into a Tropical Cyclone late tomorrow and into Thursday.
