Former Member of Parliament and Barbados Labour Party politician Leroy Sisnett has passed away. Prime Minister Mia Mottley this evening described Mr Sisnett as a ” national personality”.

I am indeed saddened tonight to learn of the passing of party stalwart, friend and former Member of Parliament for the constituency I now represent, Leroy Laurisford Sisnett, at the age of 79.

Leroy was indeed a national personality, with a voice that for decades was synonymous with the very best of Bajan radio and the title, ....
