Shameless star Jody Latham yesterday denied speeding at 96mph on the M6 because he is not sure if he was the driver. Latham, who is best known for his role as Lip Gallagher in the hit Channel 4 comedy drama, appeared at North Staffordshire Justice Centre via video link on Thursday. The 38-year-old is accused of driving a Volkswagen on the M6 southbound carriageway in Stafford at speeds above the 70mph limit between junctions 13 to 10A.
