‘VISIT’ SUTLIFF: Virtual tours are being held for the Sutliff Museum located on the second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library. While sheltering at home, people still are able to “visit” the Sutliff Museum through the museum’s App. Featured are tours about the Sutliff Family, Underground Railroad history and Victorian Design. The program was made possible in part by a grant from the Ohio History Fund in 2019.
BIKE TO WORK: The committee planning for the annual Bike to Work Day in the spring will meet 10 a.m. today via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87855097372. The event has people riding bikes to work that day. ....

FOOD GIVEAWAY: A bagged food giveaway will be 9 to 11 a.m. today at Beulah Baptist Church, 570 Sherwood Ave., Youngstown. The giveaway is open to the public.
FOOD GIVEAWAY: Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4490 Norquest Blvd., Austintown, will host its food pantry giveaway 2 to 5 p.m. today at the parish for anyone needing assistance.
BAND BOOSTER FUNDRAISER: Girard High School Band Boosters are hosting two fundraisers. The first will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at Niles Nutrition, 815 Youngstown Warren Road, No. 16. For every college basketball team combo, $2 will be donated to the band. The second fundraiser is called March Madness and beginning Monday there will be nightly drawings for tickets that are being sold for $10 each. If your name is called, you get the cash prize for the night it is pulled. Tickets can be purchased on the booster’s event Facebook page or during the Niles Nutrition fundraiser. ....

Seeing eye: McKinley Library seeks gingerbread house makers | News, Sports, Jobs

GINGERBREAD CONTEST: The McKinley Memorial Library in Niles is hosting a virtual gingerbread house contest.
Entrants can create their own house or pick up a kit from the library’s curbside service. Entries will be emailed to mckinley@mcklib.org. Categories are 17 and younger and 18 and older.
On Monday, entries will be posted to the library’s Facebook page where every “like” counts a s a vote until Dec. 20. On Dec. 21. winners in each age group will receive a gift card.
