Controversial plans for 250 homes on Shrivenham Road near Highworth A development of 250 houses on the edge of Highworth could be given the go ahead despite objections of neighbours, the town council and even the concerns of the borough council’s own highways department.  Swindon Borough Council’s planning committee meets on Tuesday to discuss the plan put forward by Gladman Development to build the houses on farmland off Shrivenham Road at the southern edge of the hilltop town.
