Elk City Woman Accused of Breaking into Clinton Motel
By News Director Jared Atha An Elk City woman was arrested in Clinton recently after allegedly breaking into the Glancy Motel. According to court records 30-year-old Carol Elaine Mitchell is accused of breaking into the motel on April 22. While being arrested she would provide Clinton police with a false names on, claiming she was Carol Standingwater. The suspect was also found to be in possession of a forged check belonging to the motel’s owner – made out to another company in the amount of $25,000.
