Carol M. DiCarlo


NAUGATUCK – Carol was the widow of John M. DiCarlo.
Mrs. DiCarlo was born May 10, 1929 in New York, N.Y., daughter of the late Carl T. and Marie (Alerini) Smitha. She was a graduate of St. Barnabas High School and Grace Institute of New York City, and Mattatuck Community College.
Before retiring in 1989, Mrs. DiCarlo was head teacher for Naugatuck’s Head Start program and also taught catechism at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck. She enjoyed traveling and acted in numerous community theater plays upon her retirement. She never felt better than when she was on stage performing in these local productions. Mrs. DiCarlo was a communicant of St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Naugatuck. ....
