Affected streets included Bradley Lane, Rosemary Hills Drive and 16th Street. Force was reported in two cases. Money and property were taken from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Glenrose Street between 2 and 2:30 p.m. on April 2. Money, property and parts were taken from multiple vehicles between March 22 and April 2. Affected streets included Parklawn Drive, Tuckerman Lane, Hampton Mill Terrace and Barbados Place. Fireworks in Kensington area lasted at least 90 minutes, residents say Police received multiple complaints, couldn’t find source By Dan Schere | File image Residents in the Kensington area say they saw and heard fireworks Sunday evening, lasting at least 90 minutes, according to two nearby residents. Jeff Day, a North Chevy Chase resident who lives just east of Connecticut Avenue, told Bethesda Beat that around 6 p.m. Sunday, he started hearing the fireworks. He said he could see the fireworks and estimated they were about a quarter mile away. “This was not a few Roman candles. These were big explosions 60 feet in the air. It was a pretty impressive performance,” he said. ....
