President Xi Jinping hosted the High-level Dialogue on Global Development on Friday in virtual format. The meeting called for joint efforts to promote global development and foster a development paradigm featuring benefits for all, balance, coordination, inclusiveness, win-win cooperation and common prosperity.
The vision outlined in the China-proposed Global Development Initiative, or GDI, will provide invaluable guidance for developing countries in their pursuit of more people-centered development, analysts said.
