Eutelsat has signed a multi-year deal with Global Eagle for additional Ku-band transponders adding large amounts of capacity for Global Eagle’s aviation customers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Under this multi-year agreement announced May 3, Global Eagle will take the entire North American coverage of the EUTELSAT 7A satellite.
